About UIYP

Founded in 2006 by James and Thwanda Davidson, Upstate Institute of Youth Programs, Inc. (UIYP) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Seneca, South Carolina. Recognizing the need for comprehensive support for youth in academics, athletics, arts, and community service, UIYP was established to bridge these gaps. Over the years, UIYP has assisted hundreds of students with academic readiness, college preparation, cultural events, athletic programs, and life skills coaching. Our mission is to inspire and support youth, empowering them to achieve their goals and emerge as future leaders.
